Subba Rao Nagubadi, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.R.C.S.

Dr. S. Rao Nagubadi received his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. Dr. Nagubadi completed extensive training in India, Scotland, Wales, and England before coming to the United States. Upon moving to the United States, he served his surgical residency at the Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and his urological residency at the Cook County Hospital, and the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.

He is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland, and London, England.

Dr. Nagubadi has special interest in urologic cancers. He has co-authored surgery research articles in this field. More recently, he had special training in laparoscopic surgery as well.

Dr. Nagubadi maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the Illinois Urological Society, and the Chicago Urological Society.

Mark Dabagia, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Mark Dabagia was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana. After a few years in practice outside the area, he returned to Northwest Indiana to join our practice. In addition to being board certified in general urology, he is a fellowship trained laparoscopic urologist. He is the first urologist with this special training to come to our area. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Dabagia completed his M.D. at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He served his surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a urology resident for four years at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he was a Pfizer Scholar in Urology in 1998 and 1999. His laparoscopy (endourology) fellowship training was at Indiana University School of Medicine, Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He is an active member in the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.

Kannan Manickam, M.D.

Dr. Manickam was born in Rockford, Illinois, and grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. He has been affilitied with the University of Illinois since 1987 for college, medical school, and urology residency. He has received many academic honors during that time at the university. He completed a one year fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in female urology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. We are pleased that he has joined our practice in 2003.

Dr. Manickam is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Indiana Medical Association.
